What are the best muscle gain techniques out there? There’s so many of them, true. But the best ones are the simplest ones. You have so many that are put together with these so called secret formulas and the such, but nothing really beats the basics. You can dress them up but the core of them are always the same. But lets go over a few muscle gain techniques. Lifting heavy is definitely one of the more important muscle gain techniques that you can do. This requires you to lift a weight that goes beyond your comfort level. I see too often people in the gym lifting weight that will do nothing for them but help them burn calories and actually get cut and lose weight. It turns out to be more of a cardio workout than anything else. What I’m talking about is the type of weight that you struggle to get 5 good reps with. The type of weight that your muscles have no choice but to get bigger, you give those muscles no other option but to grow. And they’d better grow big or you will continue to punish them and they will, don’t worry. Another muscle gain technique is to eat like an animal. You can’t make something out of nothing in this case muscle. So you will need to consume a lot of food to get that good muscle gain. This is another great technique if you will. If you combine these two techniques properly you will not lose guaranteed.
I just started going to a gym and want to start building my chest and arm muscles. How often should I be working out, like how many times a week? Also how long should each workout last and should I work out everyday? I know muscle building is long term so what is a good work out schedule for the long term?
I’ve heard about this muscle confusion thing from a friend of mine. He’s been doing the P90X Program and they talk about it a lot. I also saw and ad for this program called Athlean X which talks about it. Does it really work? Anyone try either workout program?

Like say I do bench press but only do one set. . . then do leg workouts and again with only one set. . . . then do abs with only one set, but I repeat that about 3 times. And I also throw some pushups and tricep dips in between each of them randomly. Would this help me increase muscle mass faster?
Other than doing standard reps?
